HTC EVO 4G comes with the Android 2.2 OS, but this well known manufacturer promised to bring the latest Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) onto this device before the end of 2011 2nd quarter. While waiting for the official release of the latest Android, there is good news for those who love to update EVO 4G with Android Gingerbread.
For the time being, Android Gingerbread update that is supposed to hit HTC users in the coming months is currently leaked over the internet.
The leaked Gingerbread ROM was tested by XDA developers and so far there is no known issue detected. Unfortunately, HTC Sense 3.0 is not included.
